Super seed bircher recipe

If you’re looking for a highly nutritious breakfast that is full of seeds such as hemp, chia, flax and sunflower seeds this is a delicious recipe to try.

The recipe also does not contain oats which is often included in most bircher recipes.

Serves 1 generous portion.

1 tablespoon each of the following:

Organic sunflower seeds

Chia seeds

Organic hemp seeds

Flaxseeds

Organic coconut flakes

Goji berries

2 tablespoons of chopped nuts i.e brazils, walnuts, almonds

125 ml of plant based milk, I use almond milk

A handful of fresh berries such as blueberries and strawberries

Extra milk or coconut yogurt if you choose

Method:

Add all the nuts, seeds, goji berries and coconut to a bowl and add the milk.

Stir to combine and place in the fridge overnight.

To serve:

Stir the bircher adding more milk or top with coconut yogurt.

Add the berries and finish off with a sprinkle of hemp seeds

You can also add grated apple, carrot, or even finely chopped broccoli to add in even more of your daily vitamins and goodness.
