Green Juice 101

Two nutritional and power packed green juices to get your day started.

Today I thought I would share two of my favourite green juices with you which form part of my daily wellbeing routine with my husband.

Quick and easy and packed full of vitamins, minerals and iron.

We juice using organic fruit and vegetables from our garden where we can, and drink them from a small glass jar sprinkled with hemp seeds.

We use a slow pressed juicer as the juice is extracted by gently squeezing and pressing the fruits and vegetables, keeping all the vital enzymes and minerals active for longer.

Drinking a cold press juice gives you 65% of the nutrients absorbed in 10 to 15 minutes compared to 17% of the nutrients absorbed in 2 to 3 hours when drinking a smoothie. Even though a smoothie has all the fibre a cold press juice will give you quick energy and nutrients that are easier to digest.

This is also super beneficial as the juice stays fresh for 72 hours stored in glass jars kept in the fridge.

Juicing fresh fruit and vegetables is not only good for your body it is a really nice way to take time for yourself by slowly and carefully preparing the produce and mindfully juicing creating a beautiful wholesome juice.
