New to meditation?
Discover the gentle art of quiet contemplation. Meditation has been practiced for millions of years to calm the mind and provide clarity of thinking. Today, meditation is practiced by many people who have noticed the benefits it can have on their mind, body and Soul. If you are new to Meditation start slowly for just a few minutes per day, giving your mind permission when you start to allow thoughts to come and go.
Sit in your favourite chair or in a comfortable quiet place and just breathe. Breathe in for a count of 5 and out for a count of 5, you may like to close your eyes too.
By stopping and becoming aware of your breath whilst listening to the sounds around you such as the wind in the trees, waves at the beach, will slow your breathing and start to create a calmer more present and in control you.
